"V" Control Joint, 3/8"

  • Application
    Should be used in any application where a surface area is more than 144 square feet. The wide flange allows for more "keying" of the stucco. The "eyebrows" allow for the stucco to key to the "V". Vertical joints should be attached to a stud where necessary.
  • Specification
    Control Joints shall be Plastic Components, Inc. #_______. All exterior accessories shall be of PVC material conforming to ASTM standards D1784, C1063 and D4216-99. They shall be used where specified by the architect and installed per industry standards.
  • All butt joints, intersections and ends shall be caulked at the time of installation using an elastomeric sealant, such as Plastic Components' Ultra-TechT (PC-ULTW).
  • It is recommended that PVC products be used for all exterior exposures.
