  This popular "M" design not only provides control of substrate movement but also gives the appearance of an narrow reveal. Removable tape keeps the "V" clean during installation.
• 
  "M" Control Joint shall be Plastic Components Inc. #_______. All exterior accessories shall be of PVC material conforming to ASTM standards D1784, C1063 and D4216. They shall be used where specified by the architect and installed per industry standards.
• All butt joints, intersections and ends shall be caulked at the time of installation using an elastomeric sealant, such as Plastic Components' Ultra-TechT (PC-ULTW).
• It is recommended that PVC products be used for all exterior exposures.
